02 / Measure at home

Not sure of your size?

Try the paper-strip method. All you need is paper, scissors, a pen and a ruler.

  1. 01

    Cut a strip

Cut a narrow strip of non-stretch paper, about 5 mm wide. You’ll also need a pen and a ruler.

  2. 02

    Wrap your finger

Wrap it around the base of your chosen finger. Keep it snug, without squeezing your skin.

  3. 03

    Mark the overlap

Mark the exact point where the starting edge meets the overlapping paper.

  4. 04Measure in mm0

    Measure the length

Lay it flat. Measure from the starting edge to your mark in millimetres, then compare the circumference column above.

A helpful starting point, not an exact fitting.
Paper can move or bend as you measure. Repeat a few times and check that the size can pass comfortably over your knuckle. For the most reliable fit, use a UK ring sizer or visit a jeweller. Illustrations are not to scale.

Already have a ring that fits?

Choose one that fits the same finger and hand. Measure straight across the centre of its inside opening, from inner edge to inner edge. Don’t include the metal band. Compare your measurement with the diameter column.

A few tips for a comfortable fit

  • Measure when your hands are at a normal temperature.
  • Check again at different times of day.
  • Wide bands and stacked rings can feel tighter.
  • Between sizes? Check the product’s fit advice or ask us before ordering.

Adjustable rings

Check the product page for the recommended size range. Adjust gently and avoid repeatedly bending the ring.
